General HSE Policy

1.  LEADERSHIP AND COMMITMENT

 It is the company's policy that our management staff is committed to the monitoring and uploading of HSE related matters in office and on site. Management team shall perform contract related activities such as HSE meetings, inspections, auditing and training.

Management will also be committed to the realization of the objectives of this HSE plan by;

• Participating and championing all HSE activities 
• Providing adequate resources for safe and efficient operations.
• Ensuring that supervisors and all staff are HSE competent.
• Use only HSE competent subcontractors 
• Ensuring that all top management staff are involved in all activities in the plan.

 

1.2      STAFF EMPOWERMENT TO STOP UNSAFE WORK 

This is to bring to the notice of all staff that they are all empowered to stop all jobs that cannot be performed safely. They are also empowered to intervene in unsafe practices.

2.0      HSE POLICY AND STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES 

 

MANROY GLOBAL SERVICES LTD shall communicate her HSE policies and shall ensure that they are relevant to the organization�s activities, products and services through the display on notice boards, poster and pocket-sized policies which shall be given to staff, visitors and entire workforce.

MANROY GLOBAL SERVICES LTD shall ensure that her HSE policies are consistent with those of SPDC and equal importance to her other business policies and strategic objectives and finally are publicly available.

Our strategic objectives also include all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements and also to reduce the risks and hazards to health, safety and environment to a level as low as reasonably practicable.

Part of this objective shall include providing the framework for setting and reviewing HSE objectives and targets to ensure continuous efforts to improve HSE performances.

All staff and subcontractors shall be committed to our HSE policy.

2.1                                                      HSE POLICY

MANROY GLOBAL SERVICES LIMITED shall;

• Manage HSE as any other business activity.
• Perform all operations with regard to the prevention of accidents.
• Concentrate and develop pro-active safety measures

Protect the environment from any adverse effect resulting from our operational activities.

• Train the workforce and encourage safely awareness at all level.
• Provide a safe working environment.
• Ensure elimination of all significant incidents.
• All staff and subcontractors to work in line with this HSE policy.

2.2                                          POLICY STATEMENT ON HSE

In the execution of all our jobs, it is the policy of our company that every reasonable effort shall be made to ensure that all employees are safe and healthy and that the surrounding environment shall not be adversely affected by our work activities.

To attain this, the following shall be our goals.

• To undertake work in such a manner that the community affairs, safety, health and work environment are protected.
• To ensure that all the equipment used in the process of carrying out the job are well maintained.
• That all our workers handle all waste generated in the course of our operational activities in line with waste management policy of the Company. 

While the overall policy responsibility for HSE rest at the highest management level, all individuals (staff) at every level will have responsibilities for carrying out this policy. Thus, the responsibility for the implementation of this policy rests on all members of staff. Furthermore, management believes that everyone�s dedication to HSE matters is of outmost importance and will be benefit to both the employees and the company by also achieving greater efficiency and higher quality work. This policy will be applicable to ant sub-contractor under MANROY GLOBAL SERVICES LTD through appropriate terms in the respective contract agreement.

All staff is empowered to stop any job that is unsafe.
